In order to make the programming of the TONS system easier we have invented a simple high-level programming language called TAL. TAL is a procedural language and it is inspired by languages like Comal-80, Matlab and Modula-2.
The name is a pun in Danish since tal means number. The language is purposed to make it easier for scientists and engineers to perform numerical analysis.
The TONS project is hosted by Skåne Sjælland Linux User Group.
