I have been testing what make it work i KDE. I hope you then know how to implement it in the environment variables:
When booting with lang=dk on 22-10-2002 (EN) sslug@sslug cat .kde/share/config/kdeglobals -------------------- [Locale] Charset=iso8859-15 Country=dk Language=da_DK -------------------- Result: All other programes than the KDE-programes are in Danish. To get KDE Danish you have to add Danish language See: http://www.gnuskole.dk/fundanemt/site_graphics/fundaWeb/kontrolcenter-da.png
When booting with lang=dk on 22-10-2002 (EN) and afterwards setting language to danish in Control Panel > Lokalization > Contry and language sslug@sslug cat .kde/share/config/kdeglobals ------------------- [Locale] Charset=iso8859-15 Country=dk Language=da:da_DK NegativePrefixCurrencySymbol=false PositivePrefixCurrencySymbol=false ------------------------- Result: all is great - until you reboot.
I hope you can get somthing out of my tests. Pleace write again.
