Regexp hjælp

Jeg er en klovn til regexp...

Jeg har nogle linier fra CVS hvor jeg skal have hugget 
versionsnummeret ud en "cvs status" 
 my $cvsCheckCwd = join ("", runSilent ("cvs status $filename));

Herefter kan $cvsCheckCwd indeholde

Hvordan får jeg de to versioner 1.1 og 1.2 ud i $myver
og $cvsver???
