• dpkg -i cupswrappermfc7420_2.0.1-2_i386.deb
• dpkg -i brmfc7420lpr-2.0.1-1.i386.deb

Start cups and click in to Administration -> Find New Printers

Select Brother MFC-7420 (USB#1). Choose the Brother MFC-9600 Foomatic/hl1250 (recommended) printer driver.
